F15's based at Lakenheath

Images of F 15's in various mks based with the following 4 Fighter squadrons which make up the 48th Fighter wing. The older f15c +d's are being phased out and are being replaced by F35a's . To help with squadron identity by looking at the top of the tail a coloured band is applied Blue band on the fin /492 FS( The bowlers); Yellow band on the top of the fin / 493 FS ( The Grim reapers); Red band on the top of the fin 494 FS (The panthers) and finally 495 FS Valkyries) carry a green band but not on their new F35a's.
