Nimrod MR2 XV 232
Both these aircraft have an uncertain future due to the outlined plans for the redevelopment of Coventry airport, so when the opportunity to attend a evening shoot with the added bonus of a engine run with the Shackleton I was not going to turn it down.
The weather was appalling, wet , windy and generally miserable but did that spoil the shoot, not a chance in hell did it, please judge for yourself.
This also was a first for me as I left the tripod in the car and trusted Sony's technology to allow me to shoot hand held at higher ISO with a 50mm prime lens, I think the tripod will stay in the car from now on.
