This landing craft is one of two surviving landing craft from the now scrapped HMS Illustrious, this particular vessel has ben saved and lovingly restored and now takes tourists around the harbour, a lot less stressful than in former life when she took part in the San Carlos bay landings during the Falklands campaign and subsequent resupplying of troops from the ships in the bay during the heavy bombing that the Argentine airforce carried out.
